WWII The Vought F4U Corsair Plane

This is a MakeCNC model available to purchase here. I made this for a friend out of proofgrade walnut. The cut took two sheets of material and about 45 minutes of laser time. My friend put it together and did have to do a little sanding to make some of the tighter fitting pieces go together, but overall things went pretty smoothly. I'm very impressed with the attention to detail in the model. The curvature of the wings along with small details like the air intakes on the wings really make this a neat project.
